It is an advantage to be in the Metropolis. It provides me easy access to events and happenings (those that of course, I'm particularly interested about. Here are those that I attended, participated in, watched or was just curious about:
Theater, Show and Musical
The Sound of Music - No doubt it was extended for months. I even watched it twice. It brought back memories of my childhood when I'd watch the animated series on TV and sing along to the tune of doe a deer, a female deer, ray a drop of golden sun...Joanna Ampil played the role of Maria pretty well.
The King and I - It opened in September 15, 2012 at Newport Performing Arts and indeed a show to watch. We were at the upper balcony (yes, but it is a complimentary ticket so I think, I could only thank the sponsor) but because the theater has two wide screens at the side of the stage, it is as if we are also at the VIP seats. King and Anna were a tandem to watch.
Fun Run
Run for the Pasig River-My third and counting. Started in 2010 and then last year (both in Mall of Asia) ...this year, in Quezon City.
